dealing with change

i just got the new macbook tonight. there are a lot of things im going to have to get used to:

intel processor
the reality of being able to dual boot and run windows on my mac seems a bit strange. good but strange.

glossy screen
it really isnt as bad as i thought it might be. but its still annoying when there is a light directly behind you

weird keyboard
first off the thing just looks weird. the key spacing seems quite different as does the feel. again not as bad as i feared but not great either. it reminds me of those toy notebooks you see at toys r us.

fan noise
the fans rev up and then immediately spin down while im surfing the web. hopefully this is another case of too much thermal grease and apple will issue some kind of repair procedure and get it fixed.

sharp edge
around the wrist rest is a sharp edge that when using the macbook in certain positions really irritates my wrists.

now it might sound like im ready to return it but im not. on the plus side its super fast and the screen does look very sharp under the lighting conditions ive tried it with so far. the form factor is near perfect and the remote and camera are fantastic. if there is a fix for the fan noise i think i could happily live with the rest.
